Ronald and friends

Just had dinner with my good friend Ronald McDonald. Pretty cool. It was actually a black tie dinner to raise money for the Ronald McDonald house. Its a great place. Any family that has a sick child or family member in the hospital and are, say, from out of town, can stay at this house. If they can pay they do, if not they don't have to. they can house 12 families at one time and they have a stocked kitchen, private rooms, an area to barbeque or relax, play rooms. Its a very nice place. I have had a few families stay there and it made things so much easier for them. They were able to focus their energy on their sick child and not on finding a place to stay.
'We apparently raised $250,000 for them, which was nice. They auctioned a Ford Mustang and other stuff. I bid on an autographed Raider football, but lost.
Well, I tried.
Oh and there was good food and a beatles cover band playing. Interesting...
