So a lady told me that since this summer solstice (yesterday) was also a full moon, all the universe would align and you could stand an egg on its end.
I know, it also came up in an episode of the West Wing.
Anyway, last night I tried it and it WORKED! I even got a picture of it with my camera phone!
Then I looked at the base (along the surface of the counter) and I noticed that it was sitting on its end, but there was also a dimple on the shell (just offcenter) that it was resting on. So the egg cheated!!!
I tried all the rest of the eggs without dimples and they all failed.
The skeptic in me was right!
Oh, and that full moon really looked cool!!!
