I was playing on the computers at Eric and Kathleen's house with the kiddies. Olivia told me that I can print one of the pictures that I was looking at online on the printer. I told her thank you and then she said, with her had up in the air, "I think you go to print.com." It was classic! When I told Steve about it he was rolling on the ground.
I started swimming with the master's team at Steve's old high school. It's good and there are some good people there. On Monday, while I was getting ready to swim, some ladies invited me to play water polo with them. Well, how could I resist.
I did most of my swim work out then ventured off to the water polo area of the pool. You can lead a fish to water, but you can't make it swim, especially when there is a water polo ball around.
These ladies are crazy! Most of them have never played water polo in their lives and they are just there for a good time. Don't get me wrong, they know how to play and what they need ot do. They let me play even though I have never had kids (as most of them have already). They said I will have to carry around a sack of potatoes for a while to make up for it. We scrimaged a little today and I was pooped. Maureen O'Toole played with us today. She was my role model for water polo when I was in high school because she was a pioneer for women's water polo, played on the men's national team as hole set which is tough! She was fun to actually play polo with, as are all of the girls. It is now the highlight of my swim workout.
